As an advocate of the regional business community, we stand firm on considering the millennial demographic changes in our region, and realize its fundamental importance to the growth of our members. We have enhanced our organization by engaging, educating and informing our members in both the values and practices of ethnic diversity and our support for the minority community and underserved. Through the Charleston Area Black Caucus, a non-partisan Political Action Committee (PAC), located in the Chamber’s headquartered market of Charleston, SC, we invite, and encourage, you to learn more about the Chamber’s commitment to ethnic diversity and education through this committee.

Our Diversity Statement

In the Southeastern Chamber and its Political Action Committees (PACS) there shall be no barriers to participation in any activity of this Chamber on the basis of economic position, gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.

CABC Purpose and Undertaking:

The Purpose of the Charleston Area Black Caucus is to serve as leadership representatives for the Black citizenry of the Charleston Area, encompassing Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties of South Carolina.
