North Charleston has one of the most diverse and exciting food cultures in the Lowcountry, and now it's time to celebrate it.
Fork & Flow: Taste of North Charleston is a community cook-off where local residents, home cooks, restaurants, chefs, educators, businesses, and neighborhood food enthusiasts come together to share the dishes that make North Charleston unique.
This isn't a food festival.
It's a friendly culinary competition designed to bring people together, celebrate local flavor, and discover the incredible talent found throughout our community.
Whether you're competing with your award-winning chili, famous mac & cheese, seafood recipe, BBQ, dessert, gumbo, or family favorite, every dish tells a story, and every guest gets to be part of the experience.
What to Expect
Guests will enjoy a relaxed afternoon sampling a variety of locally prepared dishes while meeting the people behind them. As you move throughout the venue, you'll have the opportunity to taste, vote for your favorites, meet local businesses, enjoy live entertainment, and experience the community one plate at a time.
Fork & Flow is designed to create conversations just as much as competition.
It's where neighbors meet neighbors, businesses connect with residents, and great food becomes the centerpiece of an unforgettable afternoon.
The Cook-Off
Do you have a recipe everyone talks about?
Now is your chance to prove it.
Competitors will prepare their signature dish and compete for community bragging rights, specialty awards, and recognition as one of North Charleston's favorite cooks.
Whether you're an experienced chef or someone whose family recipe has been passed down for generations, everyone has a seat at the table.
Popular competition categories may include:

• Seafood
• Soups & Stews
• Wings
• Desserts
• People's Choice

While the cook-off is the centerpiece of the event, guests will also enjoy:

• Live music throughout the afternoon

• Cash bar featuring select cocktails, beer, and wine
Interested in Competing?
We're looking for approximately 40 community cooks representing neighborhoods, businesses, restaurants, schools, nonprofits, churches, civic groups, and local organizations throughout North Charleston.
Competitor Registration: $50
Bring your best recipe, your biggest supporters, and your community pride.
Business Showcase Opportunities
Local businesses that do not wish to compete in the cook-off are invited to participate through a limited number of Business Showcase spaces.
This is a great opportunity to introduce your organization, engage attendees, distribute promotional materials, and support one of North Charleston's newest community traditions.
Business Showcase Registration: $350
EVENT TICKETS
Entrance to the event is $15, plus $1 per tasting ticket to a non-profit of your choice.
Upgrade your afternoon with VIP access, featuring preferred seating and a complimentary selection of wines and signature cocktails from our host venue $120 per person and includes open bar on select drinks.
