Charleston, SC – The Southeastern Chamber is excited about member Citadel Mall as it is expanding its offerings with new retailers and restaurants, as well as renovations to refresh five existing stores. Citi Trends, a value-priced retailer of urban fashion apparel for the entire family and accessories, is slated to open a nearly 18,000 square-foot store in the Dillard’s Wing. rue21 has also opened a new store, approximately 8,000 square-feet, in the Belk Wing. Rue21 offers the latest trends and must-have styles in men’s and women’s fashions. Jewelry World will also join Citadel Mall near the Belk Court later this fall.
Along with the new retailers, shoppers can now enjoy delicious eats at American Deli, which just opened in Citadel Mall’s Food Court. This location offers tasty, savory dishes including hot wings, subs and much more. Additionally, Pretzel Twister, a gourmet pretzel shop featuring hand-rolled pretzels with various toppings, built a new state of the art kiosk located in Center Court.
Several Citadel Mall retailers have recently undergone remodeling projects including Jimmy Jazz, Journey’s, Kay Jewelers, Lee Nails and JCPenney. This JCPenney location is one of 500 stores nationwide and opened an appliance department.
