Focus of the Day: “Where It Starts: Personal Identity, Regional Legacy”

PART 1: Orientation 

This kickoff session introduces cohort members to each other, the Chamber, and the leadership history of the Tri-County region through a recap of course requirements. Participants will also engage in guided self-assessments and vision-mapping exercises to understand their personal leadership brand.

PART 2: Legacy & Leadership in the Lowcountry

The second half of the day explores how the Lowcountry's history — from Gullah heritage to economic resilience — continues to shape leadership narratives across business and government sectors. Expect a mix of reflection, heritage exposure, and a cohort bonding challenge.
