Southeastern Chamber plants seed in Myrtle Beach, SC

SCC kicked off its Grand Strand Division with a Myrtle Beach Mix @6 formal information meeting for prospective division leaders.

The event was held at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club, one of Myrtle Beach's premier ocean view member-only clubs.

Speakers included Jory Taylor of Edward Jones Investments and Parent Chamber CEO- Henry Ravenel. The group discussed how they want to serve as a non-competing partie to local Chambers and give Grand Strand business owners and professionals the option to do business across Cities and the Stateline providing a wider regional reach for prospective stakeholders.

The group also has a focus on millennials in the Grand Stand market and partnering with local Colleges and Universities on retaining millennial talent to the area's workforce beyond graduation.

The group held an Inner City visit tour of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Beaurea earlier that afternoon.

They will host an official division launch in July.
