The N.E.N.O. Summit (NextGen Entrepreneurship, NonStop Opportunities) Summit, produced by the Southeastern Chamber of Commerce, occured last week at the Citadel Mall in Charleston, SC. Dozens of business owners, industry experts, entrepreneurs and start-ups gathered to gain inclusion and direction regarding the global business climate and what it means for the future of business, post the COVID-19 outbreak.
Executive Leadership Coach Brian Patrick Cork of Atlanta, GA served as host. Other attendees ranged from local salon owners and bankers to CyberSecurity company CEO's hailing from the District of Columbia.
Breakfast was provided daily from local chains like as Eggs Up Grill in West Ashley, and Harris Teeter (Bees Ferry Rd. location).
Lunch was provided by Citadel Mall Food Court restaurant Charley's Philly Steaks.
"NENO was by far the greatest!" said Ann King, a long time chamber member and owner of AK-1 Insurance Agency.
Speakers included Dixon Woodard of United Community Bank (South Carolina and Georgia), Kirk McMillian of PeopleSurge, Joe Colavito of CoreVu, Alecia Hayes of T-Mobile and many more CEOs and business leaders.
The organization will produce a N.E.N.O. Summit II on November 18-19, 2020 with a special highlight on retail community brick and mortar survival, cybersecurity and a newly inspired program called Chamber Academy -Leadership Southeast.
