Director of Special Projects
DeShean Garrett serves as the Director of Special Projects for the Southeastern Chamber of Commerce.
As a part of the Chamber since its inception in 2005, Mr. Garrett has been instrumental in building the foundation of an ever-growing regional organization that serves professionals in all areas of business.
Mr. Garrett oversees the Special Projects Department of the Southeastern Chamber, and is responsible for executing project management for many of the organizations high priority activities. He is a proven leader and advocate for business growth and development as evident by his role with the Chamber and other professional organizations.
In 2002 after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from The University of South Carolina, W. DeShean Garrett moved to the Charleston area to pursue business ventures. Mr. Garrett co-founded his first business venture in 2003 and continues to explore numerous other business opportunities. In December of 2006 Mr. Garrett received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University. Upon graduating, the President of CSU inducted Mr. Garrett into the exclusive International Honor Society for Business, Sigma Beta Delta. Since 2002 Mr. Garrett has served as a Program Manager and lead Engineer for a local engineering firm executing multi-million dollar projects for numerous high profile clients.
